I wanted '14 billion' to be my emphasis because its an outstanding number, so I made it large and bold. I also wanted 'ocean' to be noticed, so I made it larger and put lines around it.

I made the word 'I'll' bigger than 'make it to the' because I felt like it was slightly more important. I selected the color black for 'I'll make it to the' and 'I have' to make them stand out more so than 'if' & 'to'. I wanted 'moon' to be my emphasis so I typed it in all caps, made it large & white, and kerned the letters to make them spread out more. I typed 'have' in italics to put a little bit of stress on it. I wanted 'crawl' to be noticed, but I feel like the word itself is weak, so I made it pretty small, but I put it in italics so its still noticed. The texture of the background and the moon is smooth because of the gradient. I think that where the purple starts to turn to black it creates line and sort of divides the page. The round shape of the moon creates a feeling of serenity.

Pants

My design represents one word art because the line and shape of the letters create the basic shape of the word itself. The long line of the 'p' and 's' create the outer edges of the pants. The word pants looks like a pair of pants.

I typed 'earth' on a circle path because the word earth makes me think of a sphere, seeing as how the earth is a sphere. I wanted art to be the emphasis so I changed the type face, kerned it so all the letters are really close and made it bold. I wanted 'eh' to be a boring word so I spaced the letters out for a lot of negative space.
